The imposing building at 50 Damjanich Street was completed in 1895. Although originally intended as an apartment building, its ownership was transferred to the Church in 1901, after which it functioned as the headquarters of the Regnum Marianum community for decades. On 2 July 1944, a bomb of the US air force accidentally hit the small chapel in the courtyard of the house, which unfortunately was destroyed and its restoration was abandoned. The building was returned to the Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest at the end of the 2000s. It had stood abandoned for a long time, and then in 2016 the renovation works started, resulting in the classic elegance and modern functionality that we see today.
